So, my classmates put together a sweet 50s retro poster as our Fine Tooning cover this year. For the back cover we're hopefully going to have a bunch of ads for our movies or whatever we feel like.

This one is mine.

I made a bunch of different colours for it, so that they could pick whichever would mesh with the other ads.

Man, I had a buffer going for this week. Then I lost that buffer, and that's where the pidgey came from. Honestly, pidgeys are really derpy so if I end up re-doing it out of sheer hatred it won't be for awhile.

So, Mr. Dave made some demands and here they have been met. The rest of my Pangolin sketches and the lizard I drew. It's an armadillo lizard, and they are intense looking little guys.

Reading week last week, took the break opportunity to get my wisdom teeth out (joy) while I'm still on the parents health insurance (actual joy!). So now it's the home stretch until the end of the semester.

Fine Tooning is the name of the graduate book that our program puts out every year. In addition to filling it with our totally rad art, we also have to make up the pages they go on. I don't have an approval yet, but this one is my favourite.

Way back in October (before the OIAF) I thought to myself that I ought to have a proper website. So, off I went, buying myself a domain and some hosting. Then I got caught up in the whirlwind of school and I haven't touched the damn thing since. So, I did up this doodle and put it on there. Now at least people know that I know that my site isn't up and running.

Plus it's way better than "Hello World!" the default bull that Wordpress gives you.

Step by step! I drew a cat for Harvey James's Pick A Cat Draw A Girl, and this is how it went from construction to pencils to a super rough colour. I don't know much about colouring, but I splashed some on there.

The rough pencils from the ID picture I drew of myself for DeviantArt. I inked it for the site, but I kinda like the pencils more. I'm wearing my very favourite sweater (which currently bolsters the lining of my winter coat for the harsh Ottawa winters).

We have this game at school, where a theme is selected and then we draw the characters from our films according to that theme. The very first theme was "poofy princess dresses" and it was pretty much my friend Jason and I who got it all started.

So we've started afresh here, with the film that I'm making in my final year of animation!
